London: T.C. & E.C. Jack, 1910. 1st Combined Edition. Blue Cloth. Very Good to Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Two volumes, 1910 & 1911 (xv + 427 + xii + 420 pp.), with 100 reproductions in colour facsimile of drawings by the author, and around 1000 b/w illus in the text. Top edges gilt, other edges uncut. Blind stamped borders to original cloth boards, gilt vignette and lettering, gilt lettering to spine, corners bumped, top and tail of spines edge-worn, joints rubbed, with a few small splits along rear joint of volume 1 and along front joint of volume 2, contents in excellent condition: generally fresh and clean, espec. the tipped in colour plates. A very good copy of this superb work. Heavy books, extra postage will apply.
