About This Item
London: J.M. Dent & Sons, 1923. Hardcover. Very Good. Uncommon monograph on British artist Lovat Fraser (1890-1921). #73 OF ONLY 150 COPIES ISSUED, EACH SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR HALDANE MACFALL at the limitation. Solid and VG in its illustrated boards, with light soiling to the front panel, a tiny former owner bookplate at the front pastedown and mild wear along the outer hinges. Still though, perfectly sturdy and well-preserved. And, most impressive of all, a generous sample of Lovat's work, with dozens of his drawings thruout plus a handful of tipped-in, full-page plates (most of them in color). Tall quarto, lovely decorative endpapers and deckled fore and bottom edges.
