Complete in six volumes. Each volume with a colour frontispiece, numerous colour plates and and b/w plates, volume I, II, III, IV have colour overlay dissection models. Bound in the original publisher's green cloth, gilt lettering to the spine and front board, some decoration to boards, very good with just a little handling wear. Contents clean anf tight with just some spotting to the endpapers and half title, small stamp with previous owner's address, volume one has the bookplate from the private library of Eric Hosking, photographer..
