Octavo, an early edition, pp. [v], 377, green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front, various New York City images on front, very sharp halftone photo plates, illustrations by R.L. Boyer. Strays upstate briefly towards the end to visit West Point and other Hudson River sites, then ends in Greenwich Village. Condition of this book: Near fine with just a bit of wear and dust-darkening around the edges; an exceptional copy. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
