Hutchinson & Co., 1934. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1934. No Edition Remarks. 280 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth with gilt lettering. Contains colour illustrated plates by H. M. Brock. Spine and board edges are mottled with mould. Pages are rough cut. Page 116 plate appears to be missing. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout, with a few nicks and creases along text block edge. Plates are bright and clear, with light tanning and foxing to edges. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and considerate rub wear to surfaces. Heavy tanning and mottling to spine and edges. Notable water drops on rear board.
