The two volumes from this short-lived series that cover, among many other sales, the sale of the library of the Earlof Ashburnham. Includes indexes of names and subjects and a general introduction and notes. Signature and short acquisition note of W. Lambert "(Bibliophile)" on each front free endpaper and with a pasted-in typed slip in the first volume noting the inclusion of the Earl of Ashburnham's collection. Slightly rubbed, black shellac-like stain parallel to fore-edge of front board of first olume. otherwise Good.
