London: Bell and |Dandy, 1872. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. 4to, xxvi + pp156 plus 6 b/w plates including frontis. Hardcover no dust jacket. Publishers binding of red cloth with black borders to bevelled boards and gilt design of sun-dial to front board and titles to spine in good condition with a few nicks, small split down top front of spine and shelf wear to top & tail of spine. Inside both hinges starting to crack but holding nicely, previous owners names to front paste down. All pages in clean and bright condition with a little foxing to end papers and plates at rear.
