The book continues to be passed from hand to hand, always with the previous reader's warm assurance that here is to be found a key to an understanding of Eastern ideas, a key that transcends the title of the book. Condition notes: (xvii), 133 numbered pp; HB w/ slipcase. Pages: clean, bright, tight, lt green eps, portrait frontis; a.e. mildly toned. Cover: patterned cream paper over boards, brown cloth backstrip, black titles to front/spine pasters; minimal shelfwear, spine and its paster modestly sunned. Slipcase: covered in paper matching book + olive rice paper, titles to front paster; modest edge/shelfwear with edges starting, edges sunned, and shallow scratches to paster.
