The leather on the spines is still supple with some rubbing and marking but better than customarily found; the corners are straight, the edge of the rear board of one volume nicked. A Very Good to Near Fine set, lacking the slipcases. Valenti Angelo. Six octavo volumes (5-3/4" x 9-1/4") bound in half natural cowhide leather and printed paper sides designed by Valenti Angelo. The unabridged translation complete with notes and index by Sir Richard Burton. Illustrated with 1001 drawings by Valenti Angelo. Copy #323 of 1500 copies SIGNED by the illustrator on the colophon page. The first multi-volume set issued by the press.
