Pp. 192; boards a trifle sprung and lightly mottled, edges slightly rubbed, with thin faded strips at head and foot of spine; price-clipped dust wrapper, slightly soiled and foxed, edges rubbed and split, with a couple of tiny chips, small pieces torn from head and foot of backstrip; bookseller's stamp on upper pastedown, a couple of leaves slightly creased, a little foxing; Ward, Lock & Co., Limited, London, 1946. Eighteenth impression. *One of the 'Sanders' series; first published in 1914.
