No dw, red bds with gilt titles to spine and gilt decoration (shield) to upper panel, red top text block edge, tanning to other edges, free end paper missing, sl fading to spine, owner's bookplate to paste-down, 3 x postcard-sized cards with shield symbols on them adhered to rear free end paper and last text leaf below text, top 40mm of upper hinge split, with a few small minor surface marks to cover. ; 240x170mm; 316 pages .
