About This Item
London, Pluto Press, 1978. First edition, first printing. Paperback. Some creases, and wear, but tight and intact, no inscriptions, The music of my adolescence as described by Julie Burchill and Tony Parsons, Back then the NME seemed the cutting-edge of art, life and particularly writing. And this book exemplifies that as it rails against the old and is fairly ambivalent about the new. These two were always really only about themselves, Even that seemed cool and new at the time, instead of bloated and flaccid as it does now. An amazing period piece. With dedications to the likes of Pennie Smith, Danny Baker, Charles Shaar Murray and, um, Menachim Begin. Plus "Tom Robinson Band and everyone else on the same side at Lewisham 1977." Cheers.

Once an avid book collector, mainly of modern first editions, now retired and looking to simplify my collection. (We need more space for my wife's cookery books.)
