Cocked, edges smudged/tanned/foxed/lightly soiled, gift inscription (dated 1923)/previous owner's name to front end paper, off-setting/foxing to end papers/pastedowns, light soil/foxing throughout, in edgeworn dust jacket w/chipping/tears to corners/spine ends, 2" x 1" piece from top spine, some soil, surface wear. Fairly scarce in a dust jacket..
