London: Gerald Duckworth, 1947. No. 85 in Duckworth's Great Lives Series. Jacket has yellowed, has some shelf wear and foxing around the edges, is price cut, and its corners are bumped. The cover is red with a guilded spine, it is fine except one corner is bumped. The text block shows toning from age with the exception of the endpages, which have yellowed.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good.
