About This Item
New York: William Morrow and Co., Inc., 1991. Book Club (BCE/BOMC) . Hard Cover - Cloth Spine. Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Thomas Canty (jacket design). An engaging novel of murder and science. The protagonist, raised in an orphanage, discovers that he is genetically altered - into a creative genius. This he inherited from his father, who has been murdered, and he goes on a quest to determine who killed him and why. 298 pages. CONDITION: The book itself is bright, tight, square, and unmarked, with negligible shelf-wear (just a small bump at the spine bottom). Its handsome dustjacket - now in a clear mylar protective cover - is vivid, unmarked and uncreased, with a little scuffing at the spine ends and cover corners. [Note: The cloudiness in the cover scans is only a reflection on the mylar.]
