About This Item

Chicago, IL, U.S.A.: The Reilly & Britton Co., 1910. Minor edge and corner wear, corners are bumped and rubbed, spine is faded, first couple of pages are faded, overall a very clean, collectible first edition! Green cloth with black gilt lettering. Wonderfully well-preserved! 114 clean and unmarked pages! "Brass Tacks" isn't a very pretty name, but it attracts attention and gives individuality. The name doesn't matter anyway. It is the thing the name stands for. Brass Tacks will stand for net concrete truth and will be a place where we digest and grind up the ideas that we take into our mental digestive apparatus. These lines were written between times, during the strenuous life. The writing, analyzing, and thinking has helped the author and it is hoped the reading will help you. The writer has no strangle-hold on knowledge---claims no originality, assumes no superiority and tells nothing new. He tells old things in a new way. Just read "Brass Tacks" lines and maybe you will feel better.". First Edition. Green Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Hardcover.
