IDB Productions, 2017-01-01. MP3 CD. New. The story starts when Rosamund voyages from England to the East. The scenario sets as the two youthful cavaliers chase the lady in the courage of saving her from the Muslim chief, Saladin. As the Cross and the Crescent confront one another at the Battle of Hattin.

With threatening lions, an evening clash on a bridge, and lovely Arabian horses, this novel will make your eyes glued to every exciting page you read.

Sir Henry Rider Haggard, KBE, also referred to as H. Rider Haggard, was a British author of adventure stories taking place in out of the usual places, such as Africa, and a creator of the Lost World fictional category. He was also associated in agricultural reform all the way through the British Empire. His novels, set at the brighter finale of Victorian literature, remain to be famous and remarkable.

Henry Rider Haggard, mostly called as H. Rider Haggard or Rider Haggard, was born at Bradenham, Norfolk, the eighth of his ten siblings. His parents were Sir William Meybohm Rider Haggard, a lawyer, and Ella Doveton, a writer and poet. His father was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, to English parents. Rider was firstly sent to Garsington Rectory in Oxfordshire to do schoolwork under Reverend H. J. Graham, but not like his older brothers who completed their studies from different private schools, he enrolled at Ipswich Grammar School. This was because of his father, who possibly considered him as someone they could not anymore manage to pay for his costly private education. After flunking his army entrance exam, he was sent to a private crammer in London to practice for the entrance exam for the British Foreign Office, for which he did not attend. In his two years in London he connected with people attentive in the field of psychical phenomena.
