Very heavy (2.9 Kg), and not available for postage to destinations outside Australia. 434 pp. A history of Australia's brickmaking industry from the discovery of workable clay at Cockle Bay (1788), through various 19th century industrial transformations, to the advent of the Austral Brick Company (1908) and Brickworks Ltd (1938), and their amalgamation in 1969. Superb production containing over 450 photos.
