London: Ward, Lock, 1952. First Edition, First printing. Hard Cover. Signed by Tranter on title page. VERY GOOD+ TO NEAR-FINE BOOK WITH SLIGHT EDGE FOXING, TIGHT BINDING, CLEAN BOARDS AND INTERIOR. ONLY FLAW IS A CUT OUT OF THE ENDPAPER TO REMOVE A SIGNATURE. SCARCE DUST JACKET IS VERY GOOD WITH BRIGHT, CLEAN FRONT PANEL WITH BEAUTIFUL COLOUR. SLIGHT FOXING TO SPINE AND REAR PANEL. Uncommon signed and in a nice dust jacket. Source of Frank Launder's 1959 film with Bill Travers and Bernadette O'Farrell.
