About This Item
London: The Bodley Head, 1992. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, with no marks or signs of previous use. The illustrated covers are bright, with just a touch of wear at tips and corners. A very nice copy. Synopsis: "William, Mary and Alice arrive to spend the half-term break at Golden House and find the place full of discord. Phoebe and Jack are Quarrelling, the animals are fighting one another in the valley and, worst of all, Stephen Tyler, their Magician friend, is near death. The time for the final great battle draws near when they make the terrible mistake of catapulting Morden, the Magician's evil assistant, into their time.
