American Book Company, 1883. 602 pages not including appendixes, soiled and scruffed red cloth with ruffed & ribbed leather 1/4 binding, gilts ltrs on spine, gilt eagle on front cover, head of spine torn about 1 1/2 inches on back edge, corners/ edges/and head-heel of spine are bumped/frayed/and worn, writing on inside front cover and ffep as well as bfep, water stains on edges but not affecting text, fold downs on lower corners, edges are soiled and dirty from shelf wear, however, it is tight.
