Stephen & Pollock, Ayr, 1912 Good - a reading copy. no dj. prior owner's details to pre-title page. brown shadow to ffep ( prior bookmark laid in?) . no marginalia. The light green cloth boards are somewhat grubby with marks and rounded corners - but no loss. sunned to spine. top edge of textblock is darkened. extensive and unsightly foxing internally. all pages present, but 2 of the images are not bound in now. a good reading copy, priced to reflect its condition . this small book deals with the mediaeval bridge in Ayr, which was ''immortalised'' by Burns in ''The Twa Brigs'' and rebuilt in 1910. 77pp, 10 full-page b&w photographic illustrations. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
