Octavo; viii, 182pp, with coloured frontispiece and eight (of ten) concluding coloured plates (lacking plates 2 and 4). In full leather prize binding by Bickers and Son, gilt heraldic arms to front board, gilt double fillets to board margins, five raised spine bands between gilt double fillets, gilt lettered spine label to second compartment, remaining compartments gilt, binding worn but sound, matbled endpapers, presentation label to front pastedown, occasional unobtrusive soiling and spotting to text and plates, last few leaves (booksellers catalogue) excised. A good copy.
