Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd., 1942. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1942. No Edition Remarks. 223 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with green lettering. Black and white and colour illustrations throughout. Slight cracking to gutters with exposed netting, pages remain attached. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Some slight stains and markings throughout. Illustrations are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Minor dog-eared corners. Tape to front hinges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light sunning to spine with spine detached from text block. Staining and wear marks overall.
