Black cloth with blindstamped title and blazon to front cover, dark gilt title to spine. Spine cover lightly sunned, some normal shelf wear to covers. Interior has scholarly owner's name on first free end paper with 1952 date, paper a bit creamy, otherwise clean and unmarked. Surprisingly hard to find. Also printed at London by Humphries/OUP. ; Harvard Historical Monographs; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 113 pages .
