About This Item

[n.p. likely London], 1903. Good plus with some foxing, tears to edges with minor loss not affecting text, vertical crease.. Scarce broadside announcing the visit of King Victor Emmanuel III and Queen Elena of Italy to England in November of 1903.

Likely hastily prepared, the text is replete with spelling errors ("Myjesties" and "majesttes" for majesties, among others).

This example is similar to the floral motifs found in Sarah Burgess printed napkins, but ours is without any identifying imprint.

Broadside. We are unable to locate any copies on OCLC as of March 2024.
