Rules of the Maine Charitable Mechanic Association Library affixed to front pastedown sheet, small library stamp on front fly leaf and title page, small inked library number on front fly leaf, and spine panel professionally reinforced internally, else a near fine, bright copy. The 18-page chapter titled NIGHTMARE ON THE LINKS chronicles the puzzling dreadful golf performance of Brocklebank, an accomplished golfer, who's not playing golf or doing anything that's been routine. Is an imposter taking his place? An interesting mystery puzzle and a scarce book.
