First edition. With an introduction that provides a brief history of American sculpture, thi set photographs and discusses each of the sculptures in the Brookgreen Garden in Brookgreen South Carolina. With notes and references for each. Contains plan of the garden identifying the location of each piece. Front free-endpap removed in each volume, inner front hinge on volume one starting but strong, still a very good set.
