New York: Cupples & Leon Co, 1944. Hardcover. Near Fine/good -. [4], 208 p.: frontispiece; 19 cm. Red cloth with black spine and cover titles and front cover illustration. Illustrated endpapers. Color illustrated dust jacket. List of the first 18 titles in The Buddy Books series on verso of title page. This is the eighteenth title in the series. The front flap of the dust jacket lists volumes 1 through 20, which was published in 1944; the back section has an advertisement for war bonds and stamps. Book is in Near Fine Condition: one page corner creased; clean and tight. Dust jacket is in Good- Condition: loss at ends of spine; several closed tears at edges; tape residue from old repairs at some tears; color on front section is bright.
