They had lived before, and they would live again". Then the reader learns: Shockroach Central, there slept "cockroaches, plus". "The citadel was a nest, buried deep beneath the surface of a vacant lot". An urban tale, with two youths pictured on the cover, cowering in an elevator as an invasion of cockroaches climb aboard to share their space, and the small, smart, sneaky creatures were not using the elevator doorway.
