This is the fifth: preceded by The American Builder; The Rudiments of Architecture; The Practical House Carpenter and The Practice of Architecture -- with this particular work being first published in 1839. A Dictionary of Technical Terms Used by Architects and Artificers. KARPEL B99. "....consists for the most part of the Greek orders and "Grecian" exterior and interior details." HITCHCOCK 108.
