The author specializes in the repair and construction of small wooden boats and provides clear, explanations of all the steps, tools and techniques required to build a small boat. There are numerious photos and drawings that help to explain various processes. Original publisher's red cloth covers with gilt spine and cover lettering. This is a very nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no owner names and no bookplates. The jacket has a tiny crimp to the top edge near the spine and there are a few light scratches to the rear; no chips or tears or markings to the the dust jacket. This book seems to have been seldom used. ; B&W Illustrations & Photos; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 278 pages .
