FIRST EDITION 1950 (stated on reverse of front endpaper), 180 x 115 mm, 7 x 4½ inches, 24 delightful full page coloured illustrations, line drawn vignettes in the text, no pagination (24 text pages plus 1 page catalogue of other series), pinkish cream textured boards, small colour plate mounted on upper board, pictorial black and white endpapers, different front and rear. The rabbit twins have adventures on house-moving day. Head and tail of spine very slightly bumped with minute splits at top and bottom of hinges, tiny split to surface paper at foot of upper hinge, top 5 mm (¼") on upper cover very slightly faded with a few pale fox spots (see image), faint browning on front endpaper, following blank and on rear endpaper, very small pale stain in 2 upper margins, otherwise contents clean. A very good plus copy in good DUSTWRAPPER (dw: not price clipped, small chips to head and tail of spine and corners, spine slightly darkened and rubbed, folds slightly rubbed and with small splits at top and bottom, small black ink smudge to lower margin of upper panel (see image).
