Dust jacket has several short tears at the spine, and rubbing of the fold over tips, top and front edges of the text block spotted with foxing. Gift note on the half title page. No other damage within the book. Against the vivid background of a circus we have a drama coloured with love, jealousy, friendship and the longing to have a child. There are only four characters – three of them men, one sterile of body, one sterile soul, one a staunch friend. The fourth character is a young wife who commits a disloyal act out of love for her husband. The dust jacket is not price clipped. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. XII, 112 pages.
