About This Item
Home reviewed the new edition of Amy Mack's Bushland Stories in December 1921 and praised the 'entirely new illustrations in colour and black and white by Joyce Dennys... so admirably suited to their subjects, so beautiful in their delicacy of tone and drawings'. (Joan Kerr, 1995). Quarto, frontispiece and full-page colour plates, line drawings and vignettes; original publisher's attractive red cloth with gilt spine lettering and patterned endpapers; back board damp-stained. Gifted copy with a list of signatures of teachers from the North Newtown Demonstation School. A very good copy.
