About This Item
NYC: Frederick A. Stokes Company, 1903 Unpaginated. R.F. Outcault introduced Buster Brown as a strip comic in the XXXX in 1902, as a more parentally acceptable alternative to his strip, The Yeller Kid.. Buster Brown and His Resolutions was the first of the softcover book format collections of his strips and the beginning of comic books. This copy has loss and damage, the cover is missing, there are chips missing from the title page and final page, and most of the interior pages have closed tears. It is offered, despite these flaws, because of its scarcity.. Landscape Format Softcover. Poor. 16" x 11".
