Chatto & Windus, 1929. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1929. No Edition Remarks. 335 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Eight black and white plates through book. Binding remains firm. Moderate foxing to pages throughout with light tanning to endpapers. Plates are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Markings to some page edges. Previous owner's inscriptions to endpapers. Top edge of text block dyed green. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rub wear all over. Light tanning to spine with heavy crushing to spine ends causing fraying to cloth. Wear marks overall. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
