"To Which Is Added, a Supplement to His Commentary of His Wars in Gaul; As Also, Commentaries of the Alexandrian, African, and Spanish Wars. By Aulus Hirtius, or Oppius, &c. With the Author's Life. Adorned with Sculptures from the Designs of the Famous Palladio". Bound in full, mid 19th century light-brown leather. Original title and publication year labels to spine. Leather somewhat dried-- some cracking along the panels and spine but still very tightly-bound and sturdy. A well-preserved, VG copy. Octavo, 430 pgs. plus indexes, 12 clean, intact fold-out maps. Internally very clean, with minimal foxing and no writing or markings of any kind.
