Vol. 1.: pp. [xxii], 808, frontispiece, title-page vignette, 33 engravings within the text (primarily of coins), 6 tailpieces, title-page printed in red and black; Vol. 2: title-page in red and black, pp. 1-420, 1-202, [v] Index Numismatum, 34 folding engraved plates, 421-492, Indices from signature 3Q3 - 4R3, Corrigenda et Addenda 4R3v - 4S4v, 18 engravings within the text (primarily of coins), 7 tailpieces. Contemporary brown full leather, red sprinkled edges. Covers worn and rubbed, sympathetically rebacked some time ago, 5 raised bands, 2 gilt-stamped leather spine labels, corners rubbed. Mild foxing, offsetting from the ink to some signatures more than others, plate 24 has small 'v' shape missing in white space not affecting the engraving. Text in Latin and primarily in 2 columns.
