Minor chipping to edges of first two and final two leaves. Small open tear to lower margin of p. 55 and to fore edge margin of p. 151 (neither impacting text). Engraved title page. Includes after the dedication: "De Velleii Paterculi vita et scriptis, ex Gerardi Joannis Vossii opere." Name of T. Metcalf written on front pastedown above a small red illegible library stamp; name of Lauriston Ward on front free endpaper. Text in Latin.
