First Edition, first state with won' instead of won't in line 14 of page 147. Original blue cloth boards with gilt and black decoration and title to front and spine. Binding firm with light edge wear and light bumping and rubbing to corners. Spine ends and edges rubbed. Boards rubbed with some markings. Light cup ring mark to back board. Front board has slight curve and front hinge slightly loose. Content clean and bright. Some foxing to endpapers and occasionally in text. Previous owners neat ink signature to front free endpaper. Not ex-library. No notes or inscriptions. 270 pages. All books are individually described.
