Hardcover. viii, 173p., frontis, chronological notes of Whitman's life, introduction, interview with Peter Doyle, facsimile reproduction of the 1898 Putnam edition rebound in modern black cloth boards and gilt titles on spine including a gilt call number, no library markings or pockets, utilitarian production but very nice hardbound copy. Likely a rebound 1972 Folcroft Library reprint of the English edition.
