Binding is tight, corners are just slightly bumped. Text and illustration pages are pristine. Though more often the illustrator for books by Thornton Burgess, Cady wrote this one and illustrated it as well. Illustrated endpapers. 12mo. 127 pp. A handsome copy of a book hard to find in any condition.

Houghton Mifflin Company. Very Good in Fair dust jacket. 1921. First Edition. Hardcover. Orange cloth stamped in blue and green. Illustrated endpapers and illustrations by Cady throughout. Light cover soiling. There is a small marginal stain to a few leaves toward the front. No names or bookplates. In the original dust jacket although it is very worn. There is a large, triangular piece missing from the upper, rear, at the spine. Chipping at the upper and lower spine ends. Another larger piece missing from the upper, front. This affects half the title. A 3/4" chip to the lower, front edge. Wear along the fore edge folds, creasing. Soiling. Original price of $1.25 to the upper, front flap. The jacket is very scarce but poor. The first book written and illustrated by Cady. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
