Barse & Hopkins. NY. 1914. First Edition., 1914 Calendar size about 6 inches wide by 11 inches tall. Bound in cream and green marble pattern wraps with binding of gold ribbon tie at the top. Front cover title in cream on a gilt panel. Calendar consists of a Title Page followed by a page for each month (On thin cardboard) with a selection of Whittier words at the top and the monthly calendar at the bottom. Page decorations by Evelyn von Hartmann. Verses selected by Ms. Van Buren. Bit of the gilt chipped off the front cover panel else this is a calendar with the very slightest of wear.
