San Francisco:Paul Elder and Company. (1911). 1st edition.  (75)pps. Illustrated with 37 tipped in photographs. Hardcover. Quarter bound with corse cloth (burlap) and light brown boards with title in gilt to front cover and a paste down photograph, lightly soiled and shelfworn with wear along edges. Internally, an inked inscription to Inez from Edna and Porter Garnett to 1st free end-page, but otherwise pages clean and bright. The binding is tight and hinges intact.  *Porter Garnett was prominent in west coast literary activities and fine printing, as well as co-founder of The Lark with Gelett Burgess.
