About This Item
Berkeley: University of California Press, 1919. Pamphlet. Unpaginated, perhaps fifty pages, 7x5 inch textured ivory wraps titled in blind and bound with elastic satin-finished cord. Meticulously printed in smallpoint on textured alkaline paper, illustrated with a number of tipped-on b&w photoreproductions of campus sites and one photograph from the negative, of revered president Wheeler. A little edgeworn and dusty, not much handled, the paperstock has developed scattered flecks of foxing. Laid in is a tissue-guarded formal invitation to Commencement Day exercises in the Greek Theatre. A good to very good copy. As for the photo-portrait, it measures 3x2 and is fine.
