Hardcover. ,Larger 8vo,,Bound in original green cloth blocked in blind and gilt,Containing seven items, being historical articles, poems, or plays; as well as the Report of the Council of The Camden Society (1858) and the Report of the Auditors. Articles include: 'A London Chronicle During the Reigns of Henry the Seventh and Henry the Eighth'; 'The Expenses of the Judges of Assize Riding the Western and Oxford Circuits, 1596-1601'; 'The Incredulity of St. Thomas, the Scriveners' Play at York'; 'The Childe of Bristow, A Poem by John Lydgate' etc. Boards sunned at spine and edges. Light shelf wear. Contents tight and very clean. A good plus copy. Publication no. LXXIII of the Society. Former owner's armorial bookplate on front pastedown.
