About This Item
This is a charming, antique copy of the famous Christmas Carol, "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear." Circa 1890's (there is no date of publication stated, but the year 1894 is written on the front end paper); The Art Lithographic Publishing Co.; New York. The book features wonderful full-page chromolithographs, and illustrations within the text. Stiff paper covers with string binding.
Condition:
Some very light soiling to the covers. There is a stain over the word "the" on the front cover. The bottom-right corner tip of the front cover has chipped away. Light wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine. Bits of paper have chipped away along most of the length of the spine. No loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are mostly clean with only some tiny foxing specks to a few of the pages. The front end paper has a very neatly written inscription in ink dated 1894. Overall the book is in Good+ condition.
