Hardback folio, dustjacket, very good condition (in good dustjacket), tipped in plates (colour & monochrome), edgewear jacket (chipped, rear cover little rubbed & marked, few tiny dents front cover, lightly foxed & faded, small piece missing bottom corner front flap), few light creases along spine, bottom edge untrimmed, endpapers lightly toned, few foxed spots throughout, autograph (written names author & artists). Heavy, and extra postage may be requested to destinations outside Australia. 30 pp. No 132 of a limited to 550 copies, of which 500 are for sale, each autographed by the author and artists. Written after many years of research, much after long and patient delving into old records at the Mitchell Library. The exquisite illustrations will delight not only camellia growers, who will value them for their accuracy of detail, but also all lovers of this wonderful flower. Waterhouse was an Emeritus Professor of the University of Sydney. He has long been famous for his knowledge of camellias in Australia, both as a grower and a student of its history.
