Regiments of the Royal Regiments of Canadian Artillery are included in the Guide only when they were organized as Infantry Regiments and later converted to artillery. The arrangement of the Guide is alphabetical by the designation of the Regiment. The Guide for a Regiment is followed by a listing of its regimental histories, a term that has been used in its widest sense. The bibliography includes not only publications about a Regiment but also the Regiment's publications. The compiler has thus included manuals and periodicals. Three bibliographical sections and indexes close this publication. 'Formations' is a bibliography of the Canadian First division and publications concerned with a Command area and more than one Regiment. 'World War I' and 'World War II' are bibliographies of the units organized for these wars."
